Ms. Newman joined HepQuant in a Laboratory Quality role with more than 15 years of validation engineering experience in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry.

Most recently, she served as a Validation Specialist at Novartis where she developed validation plans, protocols and reports that supported the qualification of systems and the commissioning and qualification of laboratory instruments. She also served in a chemist position at Novartis. Prior to Novartis, Ms. Newman was an analytical development scientist and quality control scientist at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals.

Ms. Newman earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University. She holds certifications from the American Society for Quality as Quality Engineer and Quality Auditor.
